Former President Trump suggested he would be arrested Tuesday as Manhattan Attorney General Alvin Bragg appears close to deciding whether to charge him in the investigation into paying hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.
Trump said in a blog post on Truth Social on Saturday that the “illegal leaks” indicate that “the far-reaching Republican candidate and former President of the United States of America, will be arrested on Tuesday of next week.”
“Protest, take back our nation!” Trump continued, calling on his supporters to protest his possible arrest.
